As part of our setup process, we will guide you through a series of questions to help gather the necessary content for your church's website. This will ensure that your site is well-structured, functional, and reflects your church’s identity. Below is a list of the key content we need and some additional information that will help us build a great website for you.

1. Church Mission Statement

  • What We Need: A brief statement that clearly communicates the core mission and purpose of your church.

  • Why It’s Important: The mission statement serves as the foundation of your church’s identity and will be prominently featured on the website to help visitors understand your values.

2. Church Vision

  • What We Need: 1-2 paragraphs that describe the long-term vision of your church—what you aspire to achieve, the impact you want to have on your community, and how you envision growth in the future.

  • Why It’s Important: This gives visitors a sense of your church’s direction and inspires them to connect with your mission.

3. Pastor and Staff Information

  • What We Need: Bios, photos, and any relevant details about the church staff, particularly the lead pastor. Information could include their background, roles, and personal messages.

  • Why It’s Important: A personal introduction to the leadership of your church builds trust with visitors and helps make the church feel more approachable and authentic.

4. About Page Content

  • What We Need: A comprehensive overview of your church’s history, beliefs, culture, and values. This page should help visitors get to know your church on a deeper level.

  • Why It’s Important: This is often one of the first pages new visitors will read. It should clearly communicate who you are, what you stand for, and why they might want to visit or get involved.

5. Ministries

  • What We Need: A list of the key ministries your church offers (e.g., youth, worship, outreach, small groups). For each ministry, include a brief description and any contact details or links for more information.

  • Why It’s Important: Highlighting your church's ministries gives visitors insight into how they can connect with the church and be involved in specific programs or groups.

6. Church Photos

  • What We Need: High-quality images of your church building, events, services, or community gatherings. If possible, include a variety of photos that showcase the life of your church.

  • Why It’s Important: Photos add personality and warmth to the website, making it feel more inviting. While not absolutely necessary, photos can help visitors visualize themselves as part of your congregation.

7. Page Structure and Content

We want to make sure your website has all the pages and features that are most important to your congregation and visitors. Please review the following list of common website pages, and let us know which ones you would like us to include, as well as any additional pages you think might be important.

  • Homepage: The main landing page that should highlight key information about your church, including service times, upcoming events, and a brief introduction.

  • About Us: A page that details your church’s mission, vision, history, and core beliefs.

  • Ministries: A page that describes the various ministries your church offers (e.g., children’s ministry, youth groups, worship, outreach).

  • Events: A page or calendar that lists upcoming events, services, or programs.

  • Sermons/Media: A page to showcase your church’s sermons, videos, podcasts, or other media content.

  • Contact Us: A page with your church’s contact information, including address, phone number, email, and a contact form for inquiries.

  • Get Involved: A page that outlines ways for people to get involved with your church, such as volunteer opportunities, membership info, and small group participation.

  • Online Giving: If applicable, a page for online donations and tithing options.

  • Blog or News: A page to share church updates, news, and inspirational blog posts.

  • FAQs: A page that answers frequently asked questions about your church and services.

Additional Pages (Optional):

  • Testimonies: Share stories from church members about how the church has impacted their lives.

  • Prayer Requests: A form for submitting prayer requests online.

  • Staff Directory: If you have multiple staff members, a page listing their names, roles, and contact information.

  • Store: If your church has a store (e.g., for merchandise or resources), we can create an online store page.

Additional Information (Optional but Helpful)

  • Social Media Links: Links to your church’s social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

  • Service Times & Locations: Make sure we have your current service schedule, locations, and any special events or upcoming services.

  • Contact Information: Ensure we have the correct contact details for your church, including phone numbers, emails, and office hours.

  • Online Giving Options: If applicable, we can integrate a secure way for members or visitors to give online.
