SEO is a great tool to boost natural growth for your website. To add SEO to any page on your site, start by editing any page.

At the top, you'll see "SEO - Search Engine Optimization". Click on that to open the panel.

The "Description" is what we want to add on every page. It is important to use keywords like your city, state, and other things that might get hits from search results.

e.g. "kid's programs", "events hosted by", "student programs". Things like these will grab search results other than just church search results and could result in someone finding your church by accident.

Here are a couple of examples of different descriptions for different pages:

  • About Page - Learn more about Family Life Church in New Oxford, PA.

  • Baptism Page - Learn more about Baptism at Family Life Church in New Oxford, PA.

  • Kids Page - Learn more about Kids Programs hosted by Family Life Church in New Oxford, PA.

  • Events Page - View upcoming events hosted by Family Life Church in New Oxford, PA.

As for the dropdown "index" vs "noindex". If you ever don't want a page to be found in Google, setting it to "noindex" and that will stop search engines from indexing it.

After you've added SEO descriptions to every page, your site is now setup and optimized for SEO!! Congrats.
