Setting up Google Search Console and inviting [email protected] will help us monitor and maintain your site's presence in Google Search results. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Sign In to Google Search Console

  1. Open your web browser and go to Google Search Console.

  2. Sign in with your Google account credentials.

Step 2: Add a Property

  1. Once signed in, click the Add Property button.

  2. You will see two options to verify your site: Domain and URL prefix. Choose the method that best fits your situation:

    • Domain: Requires DNS verification. Recommended for comprehensive data across all subdomains and protocols.

    • URL prefix: Allows verification through HTML file upload, HTML tag, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager.

Step 3: Verify Your Property

For Domain Verification:

  1. Enter your domain (e.g., example.com) and click Continue.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a DNS TXT record to your domain's DNS settings.

  3. Once added, click Verify.

For URL Prefix Verification:

  1. Enter your full website URL (e.g., https://www.example.com) and click Continue.

  2. Choose one of the verification methods provided (HTML file upload, HTML tag, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager).

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.

  4. Once completed, click Verify.

Step 4: Access the Property Settings

  1. After verification, you will be redirected to the Search Console dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Settings.

Step 5: Manage Property Users

  1. In the Settings page, click on Users and permissions.

Step 6: Add a New User

  1. Click the blue Add user button at the top right of the user management screen.

  2. Enter [email protected] in the email address field.

  3. Select the appropriate permission level for the new user:

    • Full: Grants complete access to all data and settings.

    • Restricted: Grants access to most data but restricts some settings.

Step 7: Send Invitation

  1. After selecting the permission level, click Add.

  2. The system will send an email invitation to [email protected].
