Setting up Google Search Console and inviting [email protected]
will help us monitor and maintain your site's presence in Google Search results. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Sign In to Google Search Console
Open your web browser and go to Google Search Console.
Sign in with your Google account credentials.
Step 2: Add a Property
Once signed in, click the Add Property button.
You will see two options to verify your site: Domain and URL prefix. Choose the method that best fits your situation:
Domain: Requires DNS verification. Recommended for comprehensive data across all subdomains and protocols.
URL prefix: Allows verification through HTML file upload, HTML tag, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager.
Step 3: Verify Your Property
For Domain Verification:
Enter your domain (e.g.,
example.com
) and click Continue.Follow the on-screen instructions to add a DNS TXT record to your domain's DNS settings.
Once added, click Verify.
For URL Prefix Verification:
Enter your full website URL (e.g.,
https://www.example.com
) and click Continue.Choose one of the verification methods provided (HTML file upload, HTML tag, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager).
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process.
Once completed, click Verify.
Step 4: Access the Property Settings
After verification, you will be redirected to the Search Console dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, click on Settings.
Step 5: Manage Property Users
In the Settings page, click on Users and permissions.
Step 6: Add a New User
Click the blue Add user button at the top right of the user management screen.
Enter
[email protected]
in the email address field.Select the appropriate permission level for the new user:
Full: Grants complete access to all data and settings.
Restricted: Grants access to most data but restricts some settings.
Step 7: Send Invitation
After selecting the permission level, click Add.
The system will send an email invitation to
