[2.0] How to Add a Menu to Your Page

Adding a menu to your page on The Church Co platform helps in easy navigation for your visitors

  1. Create a Menu

    • Log in to your Church Co dashboard.

    • Navigate to the Menu section. This might be labeled as "Menus" or "Navigation."

    • Click on the option to create a new menu.

    • Name your menu appropriately, for example, "Main Navigation" or "Footer Menu."

  2. Add Items to the Menu

    • Once you have created the menu, start adding items to it.

    • Click on the "Add Items" button or a similar option.

    • Select the pages, posts, categories, or custom links you want to include in your menu.

    • Arrange the menu items in the desired order by dragging and dropping them.

  3. Save the Menu

    • After adding and arranging your menu items, save your menu.

    • Click the "Save Menu" button, usually located at the top right or bottom of the menu editor.

  4. Add the Menu to a Page

    • Navigate to the Pages section of your dashboard.

    • Select the page where you want to add the menu or create a new page.

    • In the page editor, locate the plus icon at the top left corner.

    • Click the plus icon to open the block selection menu.

    • In the search bar, type "Menu" to find the Menu block.

    • Click on the Menu block from the search results. This will add the Menu block to your page.

  5. Select the Created Menu

    • Once the Menu block is added to your page, you must select the menu you created earlier.

    • Locate the menu settings within the Menu block options.

    • Select the appropriate menu from the dropdown menu.

  6. Save Your Changes

    • After adding and configuring the Menu block, save your changes.
